Despite campaigning on ending "forever wars," President Trump unilaterally decided last weekend, without the authority of Congress, to bomb nuclear sites in Iran. The U.S. bombings follow two weeks of bombings between Israel and Iran, starting with Israel's attacks on Iran military and nuclear sites on June 13, 2025. Israel's strikes on Iran have killed between 610-974 people so far. Iran's missiles have killed 28 Israelis.
As this deeply disturbing situation continues to evolve, human lives are at stake. Again we must loudly declare: WAR IS NOT THE ANSWER!
