Tomorrow, April 1st, demonstrations will be held at universities across the country in defense of free speech.
The Trump administration is hunting down hundreds of international students and workers, here legally with visas and legal permanent residency, and trying to deport them based on simply their association with pro-Palestinian advocacy. According to Trump, if you aren’t a citizen, you are not entitled to U.S. laws that protect freedom of speech.
Mahmoud Khalil. Alirez Doroudi. Rumeysa Ozturk. Yunseo Chung. Badar Khan Suri. Momodou Taal. The arrest of these students without explanation or due process is meant to put fear into the hearts of anyone who dares speak out against injustice.

Today is Cesar Chavez Day, commemorating the acclaimed civil rights and labor movement activist. March 31, his birthday, had been celebrated for many years before President Barack Obama proclaimed it to be a Federal holiday in 2014. Today’s Poster of the Week highlights Chavez’s focus on non-violent direct action. This needs to be our call now.
"Nonviolence is not inaction. It is not discussion. It is not for the timid or the weak... Nonviolence is hard work. It is the willingness to sacrifice. It is the patience to win."
